Forster-Nietzsche states that she has heard through Professor Lichtenberger that the copies of letters from Hippolyte Taine to her brother have been lost, and therefore sends them again (no longer present) and continues ´I would like to take this opportunity to ask you that if you should still find the letters my brother wrote to you, you would be kind enough to send me the exact copies of them´.
