SHEPARD SAM: (1943-2017) American actor, playwright, director and screenwriter, an Academy Award nominee for Best Supporting Actor in 1983 for his role as Chuck Yeager in The Right Stuff. A scarce signed 8 x 10 photograph of Shepard standing in a half-length pose in costume as Eddie from the American psychological drama film Fool for Love (1985) based on Shepard´s play of the same title. Signed by the actor in blue ink with his name alone to the base of the image. A printed label neatly affixed to the verso indicates that the signature was obtained in person at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2005. EX
