SPECIAL OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE: A multiple signed Royal Air Forces Escaping Society commemorative cover by four RAF Westland Lysander pilots who served with the S.O.E. during World War II, flying agents in and out of France and Belgium, comprising Air Chief Marshal Lewis Hodges, Group Captain Peter Vaughan-Fowler, Squadron Leader Frank Rymills, and Flight-Lieutenant Peter Arkell. Also signed by Group Captain W. S. O. Randle of the RAF Escaping Society. All have signed with their names alone in bold blue and black inks to largely clear areas of the cover. Post marked at RAF Northolt, 25th May 1980. Together with a colour printed 4to magazine article, neatly removed from the September 2002 edition of Aeroplane magazine, being a special feature on Air Chief Marshal Lewis Hodges and signed by him in blue ink to a light area at the head of the title page.
