LEPORE AMANDA: (1967- ) American model, singer and performance artist, a former Club Kid who established herself as an iconic figure of New York´s nightlife in the 1990s. Signed colour 8 x 9 photograph, the image being a version of photographer David LaChapelle´s My Own Marilyn (2002) and depicting Lepore in a close-up head and shoulders pose made up to imitate Andy Warhol´s iconic portrait of Marilyn Monroe. Signed by Lepore in black ink to the image. A pencil note in the hand of a collector to the verso indicates that the signature was obtained in person when Lepore attended the Life Ball in Vienna on 15th May 2015. EX
