ALBERTSON JACK: (1907-1981) American actor, Academy Award winner for Best Supporting Actor in 1968 for his role as John Cleary in The Subject Was Roses. Signed 8 x 10 photograph of Albertson in a smiling head and shoulders pose wearing a bowtie. Signed in black ink with his name alone to a lighter area of the image. Together with four signed 8 x 10 photographs by each of the other Best Supporting Actor Oscar nominees of 1968 comprising Seymour Cassel (for his performance as Chet in Faces), Daniel Massey (for his performance as Noel Coward in Star!; the image being a publicity portrait issued for the film), Jack Wild (for his performance as The Artful Dodger in Oliver!; the image depicting him in a head and shoulders pose in costume from the film), and Gene Wilder (for his performance as Leo Bloom in The Producers).
