ROBARDS JASON: (1922-2000) American actor, Academy Award winner for Best Supporting Actor in 1976 for his role as Ben Bradlee in All the President’s Men and again in 1977 for his role as Dashiell Hammett in Julia. Signed 8 x 9.5 photograph, the original vintage publicity portrait depicting the actor in a head and shoulders pose. Signed in black ink with his name alome to a lighter area of the image. Together with four signed 8 x 10 photographs by several of the other Best Supporting Actor Oscar nominees of 1976 (3) and 1977 (1) comprising Ned Beatty (for his performance as Arthur Jensen in Network), Burgess Meredith (for his performance as Mickey Goldmill in Rocky; a good vintage signed sepia photograph), Burt Young (for his performance as Paulie Pennino in Rocky), and Peter Firth (for his performance as Alan Strand in Equus; the image depicting the actor in a head and shoulders pose in costume from the film).
