A rare L.S., humile serua, La Infanta Doña Hysabel d Arag[o]n, one page, folio, Valencia, 16th June 1544, to Pope Paul III, in Italian. The elegantly penned letter states, in part, ´Accadendo ad Dieco negro p[resen]te exhibitor venir in roma per alcune sue occurrencie gli ho dato carrico che in mio nome basi gli piedi di vostra santita e farli le mie recomendazioni... se degni receverlo´ (Translation: ´When Dieco negro, present exhibitor, came to Rome for some of his events, I gave him the task of placing the feet of your holiness in my name and making my recommendations... if you deserve to receive him´). With integral address leaf. A couple of light, minor stains caused by the original seal (no longer present). About VG
