A rare signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph, the original vintage publicity portrait depicting the actor seated in a three-quarter length pose, in costume as the serial killer Leo Kroll, holding a doll in one hand, from the American psychological thriller film The Strangler (1964). Signed by Buono in red ink to the image, his signature across a slightly darker area, although reasonably legible. Signed photographs of Buono are rare as a result of his untimely death at the age of 43. VG
