Clair Kenamore (1875-1935) American journalist who was a foreign correspondent and editor on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch from 1907. He was sent on assignment to Europe in 1927 to get information for the 50th anniversary edition of the Post-Dispatch, which was published on 9th December 1928. For the assignment Kenamore interviewed many writers and intellectuals, and it is likely the present letter relates to a contribution for the anniversary edition.
