WARNER H. B.: (1876-1958) English actor, an Academy Award nominee for Best Supporting Actor in 1937 for his role as Chang in Lost Horizon. A good vintage signed sepia 10 x 8 photograph of the actor seated in a half-length pose in costume from his Oscar nominated performance as Chang from the American adventure drama fantasy film Lost Horizon, directed by Frank Capra. Signed by Warner in dark fountain pen ink to the image, ´Wishing you lots of good luck, H. B. Warner´. The signature runs across a darker area although is reasonably legible. Scarce in this form. A few pinholes to each of the corners (one with slight loss) of the borders and some traces of formefr mounting to the verso. G
