APOLLO XI: A printed folio edition of the Evening Standard newspaper for Friday, 25th July 1969, featuring the headline Salute to Apo11o above a large colour image of an artist´s impression of Neil Armstrong stepping on to the moon from the Lunar Module, with many other images (some in colour) and reports relating to the mission and the safe return of the astronauts to earth on the inside pages, individually signed by both Buzz Aldrin (1930- ) American astronaut, Lunar Module Pilot of Apollo XI, the second man to walk on the moon and Michael Collins (1930-2021) American astronaut, Command Module Pilot of Apollo XI to the colour front cover image. Aldrin has signed in bold silver ink with his name alone and Collins has signed in gold ink, also adding Apollo XI in his hand beneath his signature. Some light age wear and with some creases and small tears to the edges and with portion of the back page neatly excised. G
