CONTI BILL: (1942- ) American composer and conductor of film scores, Academy Award winner. A good signed 10 x 8 photograph, the image being a reproduction of one of the promotional film posters issued for the American sports drama film Rocky (1976) starring Sylvester Stallone in the title role. Signed by Conti in bold black ink to a clear area of the background, and also adding a small musical quotation from the film score to a clear area opposite his signature. VG

Gonna Fly Now, also known as Theme from Rocky, became a part of American popular culture in the 1970s after the film´s main character and namesake, Rocky Balboa, as part of his daily training regime runs up the 72 stone steps leading to the entrance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art as the song plays.
