Signed 8 x 10 photograph of De Havilland seated in a half-length pose, holding a fan in one hand, in costume as Melanie Hamilton from the epic historical romance film Gone with the Wind (1939). Signed by the actress in black ink to a light area of the background, also adding her character name (‘Melanie’) beneath her signature. It was for her performance in this role that De Havilland was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar. EX
