DAVIS BETTE: (1908-1989) American actress, Academy Award winner for Best Actress in 1935 for her role as Joyce Heath in Dangerous and again in 1938 for her role as Julie Marsden in Jezebel. Vintage signed 7.5 x 9 photograph of the actress in an appealing head and shoulders pose in costume from one of her most famous roles as Margo Channing from the American drama film All About Eve (1950). Signed by Davis in blue fountain pen ink with her name alone to a light area of the background at the head of the image.
