CRAWFORD JOAN: (1905-1977) American actress, Academy Award winner. Signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph, the original publicity portrait depicting the actress in a half-length pose in costume as Myra Hudson from the American film noir thriller film Sudden Fear (1952). Signed by Crawford in black ink across a largely lighter area of the image, ´Hello to John from Joan Crawford´. It was for her performance in this role that Crawford received her third and final Best Actress Oscar nomination (which also represented the only occasion she competed against arch-rival Bette Davis for the Best Actress Academy Award).
