POLLACK SYDNEY: (1934-2008) American film director, Academy Award winner. Signed 8 x 10 photograph of Pollack in a head and shoulders pose, with his gently clasped hands raised towards his face, on the set of his epic romantic drama film Out of Africa (1985). Signed in bold blue ink with his name alone to a light area at the base of the image. It was for his work on this film that Pollack was awarded a Best Director Oscar, the film also winning the Academy Award for Best Picture. EX
