SIVORI CAMILLO: (1815-1894) Italian virtuoso Violinist and Composer. Sivori was the only known pupil of Paganini. A very fine and attractive A.M.Q.S., `Camillo Sivori´, one page, musical score page, large oblong 4to, London, 6th June 1844, to Signora Cambiasi, in Italian. The musical quotation is presented to a very attractively blind embossed ornated score page to the four borders. Sivori has cleanly and carefully penned twenty bars of music for violin, which he entitles to the heading `Andante - Violino Solo´, also inscribed at the base `Souvenir d´amitié per la bravissima dilettante di Piano Forte, Signora Cambiasi´ ("Friendship souvenir for the very talented pianist amateur, Mrs Cambiasi"). Sivori has also added several handwritten tempo annotations to the musical quotation. VG
